Asia Argento and Ashton Whitty

Ashton Blaise Whitty is an American actress, born in Berkeley on the 1st October 1995. Her work is recognized as an actress in Choices (2010). The Heart and Other Small Shapes (2007) and Chrissie's Content House

Asia Argento, born in Rome to a family which comprises directors and actors worked in both areas. At nine years of age, Asia made her film debut in the role of Sergio Citti in Sogni e bisogni. In 1988 she had the lead role in Cristina Comencini's first film, Zoo (1988), and was one of the actors in The Church (1989), directed by Michele Soavi. In 1989, she played Nanni Moretti's child in Red Wood Pigeon. (Also directed by Moretti). Close Friends, written and directed Michele Placido in 1992, was the film that launched Asia's career off. As she grew older, playing girls, she shifted to more complicated and mature characters. Cannes International Film Festival was an enormous success for the film. Trauma (1996) as well as The Stendhal Sydrome (1996) are other films she has collaborated on with her renowned father. The Phantom of the Opera The film, made by her father who passed away The Phantom of the Opera is the third three movies she's been involved in. The other two were Trauma as well as The Stendhal Syndrome. Giuseppe Piccioni employed her deeply absorbed and intense manner of acting in Condannato a nozze. Patrice Chereau was the director. In 1999 Asia was the first to direct a feature film with Scarlet Diva (2000), in which she was the lead actress as well as the writer for the script. In May 2000, the film was made available both in Italy as well as around the world. The film won a prize at the Williamsburg International Film Festival, Brooklyn. After directing numerous music videos, she gave birth to her first child, Anna Lou. She was a part of Jean-Marc Barr's performance on The Red Siren, directed by Olivier Megaton. In 2003 she appeared with Vin Diesel and Rob Cohen's action-packed thriller. Asia is the author of a number of short stories that have been published in various magazines.
